Concrete Contractor in Hot Springs, Arkansas

Gonzalez Rams Concrete does all things concrete, from driveways and patios to pool decks and retaining walls.

Rock waterfalls and stone work are our specialty. We build them and we repair them.

What Gonzalez Rams Concrete Does

Gonzalez Rams Concrete is a concrete, stone and waterscape builder based in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We build faux rock waterfalls, grottos and pool slides. We also repair rock features that have cracked or faded.

The same crew pours pool decks, lays flagstone, and builds outdoor kitchens, fire pits, retaining walls and patio covers. Every photo on this site is our own work.

Everything We Build

From a single fire pit to a full backyard, the work is built by the same crew.

How a Rock Waterfall Is Built

  1. Pool coping forms and rebar set in place before the pour

    1. Form and Steel

We set the forms and tie the rebar that gives the rock and the pool edge their shape.

  2. Pool shell and faux rock grotto under construction below an outdoor room

    2. Shotcrete

Concrete is sprayed over the steel to build the shell and the rough rock.

  3. Faux boulders taking shape during construction, wrapped for curing

    3. Carve and Color

Each rock is carved by hand, then colored in layers so it reads as real stone.

  4. Faux boulders wrapping the corner of a backyard pool

    4. Water On

The water is turned on and the feature becomes part of the pool.
