Rock Waterfalls and Grottos in Hot Springs

Gonzalez Rams Concrete builds faux rock waterfalls, grottos and pool slides. Each one is formed in steel and concrete, then carved and colored by hand to look like natural stone.

What We Build

  • Pool waterfalls
  • Rock grottos
  • Rock pool slides
  • Faux boulders around pools and spas
  • Raised spas wrapped in rock

How We Build Rock

A faux rock waterfall starts as a frame of steel rebar. Concrete is sprayed over the steel. This is called shotcrete. It makes a strong shell in any shape.

The carving is what makes it look real. We cut the cracks, ledges and folds by hand while the concrete is still soft. Then we color it in layers so no two rocks match.

Because the rock is built on site, it can be sized to your pool, your slope and your view.
